Lets just say, mine waits until the exact tick of half 9 to start the paper..
she hand them out and tells us not to open them then...we wait until the exact second of the exact minute then she says "you may begin!"...

    :pac:

Being years now but I was told to help others with their exam there and then. It felt kinda strange. He was in a good mood

Ours is strict and lax in different ways.

Shes strict as she won't even let us write a few formulas down in our answer books when they're still fresh in your mind.
She lets us have pencil cases and bottles though. She sits at the back watching over the class sipping her coffee(She drinks like 10 a day )

Threatened to do send a phone to the SEC after it started ringing in an exam. She just gave it back at the end of the exam with a warning.
Other than that she's grand. Always attentive, you put up your hand and in one second you have more paper or whatever. Nice aswell, asking us how the exam was and a few other general chat questions before and after exams.

Don't think that is right - think you entitled to write what ever you want on your exam paper before starting exam? - Least in colleges you are.

College is college, a junior cert is a junior cert. Oddly enough I didn't need any of the formulas I remembered.

Nor any of those 2 pages theorems I spent 2 hours learning last night.

sound relli....dey just sit up yhe front until ppl want paper

Mine is like Mr. Bean. He either gives the papers out 5 mins early, or 5 mins late.

Hes a nice enough person, but seems scared to say anything to anybody, and the day after the LC English Paper 2 fiasco, he turned all stern for about ten seconds and told us all "Its not up to me to check you have the right papers, it's you".

Anyway, I like mine, he seems nice. The one for my music practical was bang on. I would say mid-20s and one of the nicest guys I ever met. :D

She's really nice, but I go through tons of paper in an exam because I like to be very clear, and since she's always reading the newspaper it takes ages for me to ever get paper, which is so annoying

Ours is sound. Just sits there doing a few bits but still keeps a good eye on us. Doesn't mind us whispering up the front either and a phone rang one day and she just said put it on silent.

Ours is grand, you're allowed bottles and pencil cases in. He only doesn't let in phones. He's pretty dozy though, one girl's been listening to her iPod for the entire week, he hasn't noticed yet :)

If he does though, it gets confiscated and she gets it back after november or even later.
Happened to 2 people in my group now. Some guy lost his phone and his ipod during cspe when his phone rang and then when he was taking it out his ipod fell out.

OUCH! Damn, I'd be lost without my iPod, but losing both would hurt like hell...

Our guy is dead sound. Always lets you start 5 mins early. Can be annoying when he gets his tea though. The amount of racket he makes.

I really like our guy, he's actually really sound. I feel sorry for him though, what with all of the rea and biscuits our school is shoving into him everyday.

    awww ours is really nice.
He just walks around so much and his keys jangle and insists on stamping everything halfway into the exam. And then calls in his supervisor girl to talk to her about the timetable. Really. Loudly.

Why wouldn't you be allowed bottles and the like?
I brought in a lunchbox with sunflower seeds and he still hasn't said anything.

You can take the label off a bottle and with a little bit of basic (Well basic for me anyway :p) computer skills you can change the text to be notes.

    No examiner notices

    His typical day is:
Walk in holding the papers; asking us how our exams are going!
He sets up leaving everything out except the paper itself!
He then asks me and Kathy to sign the papers and hands them out exactly at the specified time!
He then sips his coffee and watches us until he collects the paper!

He doesnt mind bottles, wrappers, calculator covers, maths sets with writing on them and he got me colours for my business advertisement!

Dead sound, altough i would like to see what he would do if he found a phone or ipod or notes or something?

I thought mine was nice but I was wrong...
Today while giving out business paper 2 she said to write our exam numbers on the sheet (think we'd know by now like!) so I started to write my number. She turned around and bit the head off me saying that we're not to start yet...when I hadn't actually started. She hadn't even given me the paper with the questions in it! She got some amount of dirty looks after that... She always leaves me until last for everything now, so I'm always the last to leave:mad:
She makes us put our phones on the floor too which is kinda strange...

Ours is sound. He just sits there and every morning his belly rumbles haha! He's like in his late 50's or something! I asked him for paper and he brought me the wrong kind and I told him and he held his hands up in the 'W' sign and goes 'Whatever' and started laughing! Such a legend haha! :pac::D

There weren't enough papers to go round today in History, so they had to get a photocopy. Started five minutes late. EVERYBODY was done by half three but the silly tw*t wouldn't let us out until twenty five to because of the delay.

Our examiner is sooound! He gives us out the papers like 5-10 minutes early, wishes us all good luck and all that. On the first day, he was like joking with us. We don't have to wait for him to say start or anything, we just start whenever we get the paper.

He doesn't walk around or anything, just sits at his desk, staring into space or reading something. Sometimes he gets up and stands staring out of the window. It's funny because he kinda looks excited when he gets his tea and biscuits, or when someone has their hand up. Gives him something to do. Then, he lets us carry on past the end time too. That's sound ain't it?!

He looks like he's early-mid 50's or around that. Aaaand, he lets anyone go to the toilet whenever they want, and nobody has to go with them or anything. He just says ''Yes, of course you can''. But hardly anyone goes to the toilet anyway.

Mine's sound too. Im right up at the front right beside him ...
I cant understand how they get like 3 sets of biscuits an tea everyday though? Does he not get sick of the biscuits? Would they not give him different biscuits?
^^That's what's going through my head in the middle of an exam....:D

ours is sound around 50, a women always gives the papers out five minutes early and lets us stay 5 mins late, in english she let us 10 mins late. the one in the other room is strict tho she dosent let them start the papers till everyone has them, doesnt always let them out to the toilet and dosent let them leave til 10 mins before the exam is over cos ther disrupting others - even when there finished like!

We're undecided about our supervisor :P

She's nice like, but we're still undecided.
Oh god, on the day of the second irish paper she was wearing a t-shirt with a little anchor and a boat, all nautical like, and all I could think of was 'in the NAAAVY, in the NAAAAVY XD'

She gets about four scones every day! XD About half an hour to an hour into the exam, the fifth year who is watching the door brings in a tray with tea, one or two scones, butter, jam, the works :p

She's alright though, she doesn't freak out if you forget something. Our first Junior certers in 2007 said they got a really strict supervisor who kept walking around and looking over peoples shoulders and staring
