Need to Find a new gym

Recently finished up my membership in Crunch Templebar and have been looking for a new gym with limited success. Just needed a change and perhaps a gym where you can even get to know a few people.

Seeking a gym (with or without pool) between IFSC and Dorset Street. Any suggestions please?

im going down to St. Catherines gym on Marrowbone lane today at 12 to try it out. http://www.dublincity.ie/RECREATIONANDCULTURE/SPORTSFACILITIES/LEISURECENTRES/Pages/StCatherine's%20CommunitySportsCentre.aspx

trying to change my routine and train during lunch as im now working in city centre.

its €11 for a weekly membership so i can try it out for the week and see if the times suit.

after that its €176 for a yearly membership off peak (in before 5pm), and i think that includes a City Council Discount of 20%.

There are two gyms in the IFSC, SV is pretty small, no pool, not really equipped for big lifting if your into that - otherwise it has everything you need if your creative. There is also one in the clarion, more expensive, with pool, more fancy machines - not sure what the free weight section is like.
Riverside fitness is in marlborough street - again, compact and not suited for heavy lifting, but if your creative could be sufficient. Probably slightly over priced for what you get.

There is a gym on Dorset street as far as I know (or used to be), but I don't know what it's called or where it is.

Thanks for all the help folks. The above two look interesting, anyone have any thoughts on either?? Or other suggestions welcome. Swimming pool isn't a must but a sauna or steamroom would be nice. Also how busy they get is important but porobably a pointless question. Thanks again

go for your tour at a time you will be using it on a week evening... don't go at a weekend or during the daytime... usually if you want to see how busy a city centre facility it gets then a mon/tue eve at end of work day (or a little after if outside of central core / apartment land) should give you an indication of it's peak traffic...

herc's has plenty of free weights, machines and cardio equipment. drop down between 5-7 mon - fri and ask for a committee member, you can to do 1 trial workout for a 5er, after that joining fee is 30eur and 85eur per 1/4
