I have a weird complaint I just wanted to check with any of you about it.

I've be focusing in on my pecs for the last while but recently I have noticed changed in the mirror but my breast bone seems incredibly sore and uncomfurtable.

    Is this normal or what?
Can anyone shed any light on the subject?

right DB pullovers with bent arms esp open up your ribcage and tend to put a bita pressure on the sternum, this and the stretch in your pecs could be described as what your feeling, um failinig that you could be bouncing the bar a bit when benching? generally when some one describes that pain to me without actually dropping something on your chest it turns out to be DB pullovers that they're not used to doing

Interesting. I used to do DB Pullover last year and ended up with a pretty sore sternum. At the time I thought it was down to over-doing it on the dips. Your theory sounds right. Haven't had the pain since I stopped DB Pullovers.

OP, are you hopping the bar off your chest when benching?

Pretty sure dips tend to hurt the clavicles/shoulder joint more than the sternum if they're gonna hurt anywhere!
