hi all, have just registeredgym, and the beginner programme i was given takes about 90 minutes 2 complete. Basically, it's ten mins of cardio(bike/treadmill), and then two sets on one of the machines. (repeated 4 times )
if idont have time, can ii cut the cardio down to 5 mins and still get results with the machines? i swimming for forty mins each day so am doing loads of cardio. but do i need to do cardio to get the benefit of the machines ?
total plank with fitness , apologies if this is a stupid question !

    thanks a million

That workout could be done in half the time and shouldn't take more than than 60 minutes.

stopping staring id terrible if your goal is to burn fat-you're just giving the muscles a chance to top up their glycogen reserves so your not burning fat as fuel! 30 minutes at least of non stop hard/medium out of breath cardio works best for most-swimmings not as beneficial for fat burn as running/cycling etc!- not as much o2 taken in for the burn!
