Hi hows it going. I was wondering could any body help me. I'm nearly 20, 6ft 5inches,and weight just under 13 and a half stone.
My problem is i can never put on weight, no matter how much high protein food i eat. Is it that im not eating enough of it or not the right food. Id eat mostly pasta, chicken, egg?
And secondly what excercises could i do with free weights that could build up my core a bit? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Not gaining weight = not eating enough.

How much do you eat at the moment, in detail, per day?

    Say on a normal day

    Breakfast
    2 bowls of porridge,one yogurt.

    Brunch
    Scrambled egg or bacon

    Dinner
    Chicken/Steak/Fish with potatoes,sweetcorn.

    Snack after training
    Pasta or tuna sandwhich

I also drink about 2-3 litres of water daily

I probably eat more than that on a daily basis and I'm trying to lose fat. You really need to eat more.

I definitely eat more than that on a daily basis and I'm 3.5 stone lighter than you. How the hell do you exist!?!?!

As for what to eat: Just more. More everything! Have a read of the stickies. As a start: Definitely more vegetables. More fruit. Nuts. Anything that you'd look at in a supermarket and think "that's pretty healthy", then go with it. How big are you trying to get?

has anyone here ever heard of calories? who cares what he eats? how many calories is he consuming?

obviously he needs more calories. here's a hint: eat more high calorie foods. meat, nuts, cheese milk and other dairy, chocolate, etc.

what training are you talking about?

It really is eating more. Try to do it mostly from healthy food sources, but don't worry about having some treats: just get food into you.

    Add in a couple meals:

Have some nuts and fruit in between.
Have a lunch, could just be a sandwich again.

And if you can, drink a load of milk.

    OP,
You really need to eat more. As others have sugessted up the colorie intake (have twice the amount you currenlty eat. Eat clean. Loads off eggs, milk, nuts, meat (lean-Turkey, Chicken and red meat-steak). Eat fish (salmon, tuna etc), Lots of veg, Wholemeal pasta, bread, rice, fruit, Plenty of water and hit the weights hard in the gym (no pussy footing around either i.e don't be one of those arm curl sissy guys. Focus on heavy compound lifts. Also every time you take a crap eat food to replace it;) Its not rocket science
