Heart rate and lifting compounds

Just wondering are there any benifits to having your heartbeat up before lifting compounds.

    For example.

If i start with dumbbell bench press i would normaly just do two very light warm up sets for example
    20kg x 8
    20kg x 8
    40kg x 11

In people opinion would it be a good idea to prehaps do some cardio before hand to raise my heart beat, so that my body is pumping blood around more efficentialy??

My 2 cents, doing cardio before hand, means your are sacrificing energy that could affect your form.

Maybe do 2*12 on 10ks it wont affect your form but will up warm your muscles and get your heart rate up.

If you want to keep heart rate up, dont rest as long between sets.

You should be properly warmed up, so some light cardio or bodyweight exercises are good before you hit the heavy weights. A couple of sets of squats or deads can have your heart rate going at close to max, so you don't have to do anything first.
