    Hi,

Does anybody know if the courses you can do online are any good?
I'm working fulltime and would like to do a course in my spare time.
I'd like to be able to teach people things afterwards but not necessarily have it as a main qualification but as a backup.

Here's a link to one of the courses:

I'd like to learn some valuable info and worry that it may not be correct/up to date.

    Thanks for any help.

Why pay €550 for something you can learn on your own by reading? You're not going to be able to teach anyone anything from an online course.

Yeah I am not familiar with the course but a lot of those arent qualifications as such.

You should buy a few quality books which would only be a fraction of the cost with better information. Then if you wanted you could do a course part time with the ncef or ncehs which are run part time.

Or if you really havent the time and are set on the online route id go with the issa. http://www.issaonline.com/

To be honest I wouldnt recommend this as your first qualification. More just for add ons (eg if you are a personal trainer and doing the nutrition course) but you really need the practical side of things for the fitness instructor / personal training course.

Having said that Ive never seen the course content for the one you are looking at but thats just my 2 pennies.
