Smyths Game Trade-in (The any 2 games for a new game thing) Info

    Well, I've tried searching the forums but I didn't find any specific details on the offer, and I know the offer has been on for quite a bit now, so I decided to put up what info I have on it.

    Smyths has that trade in ANY 2 games for a new game on some of the PS3 titles. That's bullsh*t. Let me explain. They also put the term subject to T&Cs at the end of the tagline so the "ANY 2" is really not any 2 games at all. I am sure that most of you know this already (been discussed in other threads).

    So I decided to email the customer service asking what the T&C's are exactly. The reply that I got was that the 2 trade in games have to be together worth at least €27-€30 of trade-in value for the offer to be valid. They of course did not disclose the list of game trade-in values to me but rather advised me to hop down to the nearest store for an appraisal of my games' trade in values.

    If you don't want to go down to Smyths to try your luck, you can go to gamenash trade-in zone (HERE) and check the estimated trade-in value of your games. It's not 100% accurate, but it's a start.
