    Hello
Can anyone advise me of the best Printer monitoring/reporting software that I can use. We mostly have Xerox and HP printers here. Have tried HP Web Jet admin 10, but wondering if there is a better system out there.
    Thanks

What do you want to monitor? Printer counts or something?

Don't know of any program for doing this unless you were to use the Common Unix Printing Service (CUPS) running on some Unix-based machine. This could be easily done with even an old computer and a Linux distro, for example.

This system can give you a summary of all jobs completed by the printer, detailing file name, size, time when it finished printing and the user who sent it to the printer.
