i would have to nominate kisses or the american movie kids as the two worst i ever watched. in relation to the movie kids for anyone whose watched it, whats the point? maby for american culture its a good movie but it was absolute crap from my eyes, it kinda reminded me very loosely of La Haine(which completely PWNS this crappy film) maby its cause i prefer paris 'urban' culture to new yorks one but yeah i thought it was useless, the charachters were all just tossers.

Kids is an excellent movie that shows very realistically the decay of morals and lack of accountability that exists among modern youth. The charectors were tossers because thats how alot of people are.

I do think this is the worst thread Ive ever seen though.
    ;)

You can't be serious? It wasn't good but to say its the worst movie you've ever scene you are one lucky movie viewer.

Was epic movie the one that was like the lion witch and the wardrobe? If so then yes it was a bloody awful film and onlt a close second imo behind............ Untraceable!!!! It brought tears to my eyes it was so painfull.

    Untraceable was watchable imo.

The entire "______ movie" franchise have to be the winners.

Personally, I was unfortunate enough to see Epic movie (well half of it, I walked out), and if the trailers are anything to go by they're all exactly the same

the transporter, its laughable how bad it really is.

and twilight, read the books, then the film comes out and is completely sh!t.

tbh there's loads more, but i think i've blocked them out of my mind, shall post more when i remember

I would have agreed until recently, but then they started to show Woody Allen's films which are pretty damn good.

The worst film I have seen, and I'm not trying to say that it's the worst in absolute terms because I haven't seen every film out there, would be Good Luck Chuck. To borrrow a word already used, it's self serving narcisisstic crap with no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

Black Sheep....truly terrible movie. If I hadn't seen Chopper it would have completely turned me off Australian movies.

    Honourable mentions....

Well for a start, Black Sheep is a New Zealand movie, and for second, Black Sheep's great! It's a horror comedy about mutant killer sheep, what's not to love! :D

    'Oldboy'

I’m a massive fan of foreign cinema but that movie was proper rubbish, in fact I wasn’t much impressed with the trilogy in general.

People constantly rave about it but if ya ask me it’s a lot to do with this..

I’m gonna suffer the wrath of the Oldboy fan boy club now, I hope to god one other person agrees with me. :D

Guys, those are all oscar winners compared to:
    Wages of Sin
Tongan ninja (although it was terrible, it was intentionally terrible, and thus genius.)
    The Unnameable

Watch them, then come back and tell me about terrible.

Also, why would you walk out of a film? Even if its bad, watch it all, then judge it.

In general most Wayans movies are up there (they be responsible for many many of the ____ Movie 'gems', Little Man and White Chicks two other examples).

Similarly for Uwe Boll movies, altho I do admire his moxy or should I say boxey ... *law-di-daw* how droll!

On that note my definitive all time shytiest movie is Alone in the Dark. Not even redeemed by Tara Reid titillation, not by a longshot.

Well if we could all make such sophisticated judgements and Critiques regarding our movie choices you’d have to find something else to make yourself feel special and we wouldn’t want that. :D

Now excuse me, I have a copy of ‘Batman & Robin’ that simply can’t go any longer without being re-watched.

BTW, anyone want a free copy of ‘Oldboy’?? Seriously, I’ll pay for someone to take it off my hands!

The absolute worst film I've ever seen was a DVD a friend of mine gave me by the name of "Demon Town". The way it worked was that it was a TV show that had been canceled after 9 episodes and then re-edited into a 90-minute movie.

The plot was absolutely senseless, made even worse by the fact that the dynamic was entirely screwed up due to the fact that it wasn't meant to be a film. Often, on TV shows, there's a cliffhanger at the point where an ad break would take place, and the scene resumes after the break resolving the situation. The exact same thing happened in the film - except there was no ad break. Absolutely atrocious editing.

Plus, the way TV shows' plots are structured, each episode has its own individual plotline. So throughout the film, the plot would constantly change, new characters would be introduced then eliminated immediately, etc. I just can't explain how terrible that film is.

Honourable mentions go to Dumb and Dumberer, Dungeons & Dragons and Coach Carter.

The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. Went to see it in the cinema in 1982 when it came out and it's the first time I fell asleep in the cinema. Truly awful stuff.

What that film needed was some Richard Harrison.

I don't think there is such a thing as a worst film ever as every film no matter how bad has soemthing to teach. The list of films which are nearly unwatchable is as long as all our arms but every film has at least one perrson who likes it.

Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the crystal skull.
    National Treasure 2

I stopped after reading this far in this thread.
    Do you watch many movies?
By the looks of things its very unlikely you have seen more than 20 movies lifetime, or else you are very, very lucky.
Batman and Robin is deffo the worst Batman but hardly the worst ever movie. There are a lot of movies that one wouldn't rave about but hardly even close to the worst movie you ever seen.
So hands up who has seen Gigli? And as bad as it is there is far far worse out there.
    Schindler's List - I didn't laugh once.
    Fail on all levels.

    Untraceable was watchable imo.

I'm sorry mate i'm backing my corner here I do thinkit was one of the worst films i have seen. It's up to you if you feel its watchable but i felt it just didn't work in anyway and i did like the idea behind it. But i do take your point that i always felt though that reign of fire gets a hard time.

Anyway, the point is moot because i have now changed my mind to garage. Even as i have a dislike for pat short i gave this a faie go due to the reviews it got. IMO bar none i have never felt as robbed of my time then aftee that film.
