What's your favorite type of castle? Mine's probably the inflatable obstical course.

I was at a bbq last night.
I can tell you right now, it doesn't matter what type of bouncy castle you have, cos adults + wine/beer + bouncy castle = pain in your side from laughing!

The word "adults" is very open to interpretation though...

My favourite bouncy castle would be the one with the massive velco wall at one end

    Oh indeed it is feylya.
I was of course, talking about adults with the physical age of 20++

I was not referring to the mental age of said adults, because that, is a whole other kettle of fish. And a discussion best left to a much more serious forum.

    Neither did I!
You know what MUST be done Mr. Dunne.
Even I would be up for giving that one a go.
Is it small enough to fit in a back garden?
A question which must be answered.

12ft x 30ft... Might be a tiny bit big for your standard garden

    That last part looks difficult.
How do you get up the slidey bit?

  • Moderators, Music Moderators Posts: 23,363 Mod ✭✭✭✭feylya

I'm not sure but I reckon some flailing of limbs would be involved

There's a rope ladder, it's still muchos fun. Think drunken gladiators. :)

A girl I used to be friends with rented a bouncy castle every year for her birthday.
That plus lots of alcohol n snacks/sweets and acrobatics (or attempted ones) all night proved for a very fun party each time :) a spring board if it can be acquired also helps :D

Fun when you are on one and some person decides ... OOOh I see a garden hose.... OOOH I wonder what would happen if I turn on said garden hose and spray people over the back wall of the bouncy castle!! my advise .. always take a change of clothes when attending a party with a bouncy castle! one never knows what happens!!!!!!!!! :D I escaped lightly, others however did not :)

Can't beat when someone pulls the plug while you're still on it, it deflates, then they inflate it again. WIN!

Of course you can :D top of the list ;)

+1 on bringing a change of clothes, even alcohol spillages gets the place all wet!

Of course it will last, don't be silly.
Unless someone unplugs the air machine and it deflates.
    :(
    Please don't

I had a great conversation with another boardsie and his girlfriend last night about how fantastic bouncy castles are.

I did that one night. :D Just flipped the switch and sat back and watched. It was hard to say who or what deflated quicker, the kids or the bouncy castle. Anyway, the kids left and we had it to oursleves.

Yeah, in yore faces you horrible little kiddies. :D

What is it like partially "inflated" with water instead of air?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,676 ✭✭✭✭smashey

No good at all watty, less bounce. It would be good for laying on.

  • Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators Posts: 42,362 Mod ✭✭✭✭Beruthiel

    Durty.

SEriously now, thats just a waste of good vodka.
Would you drink vodka that had been previously filling a bouncy castle?!!

    Yes. Of course I would.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,479 ✭✭✭catho_monster

Point taken Ron DMC, there's few out there that would let that amount of vodka go to waste :D
I suppose what I was getting at was would you like to drink vodka that had been used to fill a bouncy castle?!!

    Still a yes.

But I think I see where you're getting at. You mean would I want to drink it if I had a choice between 'former bouncy castle filler vodka' and normal vodka?

In that case: Normal vodka ftw. Though I'd probably try the bouncy castle vodka to see what it's like.

Even in the most unlikely scenario of hating bouncy castles, you would change your mind once you heard the theme tune:
