21 to drive in August?

    Is it true starting August you have to be 21 to drive? (Excluding people who already have a license and anyone who has a up-to-date provisional)

    If it is true, how will this affect Jobs? Both Police and jobs were driving is essential?

    i have heard this rumour countless times! all sorts. think about the drivers who are 17 now though, what are they going to do!? it would be on the news and all that. ill have an aul duke for you when i get home from work later on.

    I cant see it happening.
    They might make the age restrictions higher on certain vehicles etc.
