promod is the mod used in competitive matches in call of duty 4 online and at LAN. its the accepted ruleset for any competition in Europe and North America.

if you are interested in getting involved in COD4 proper, join #mpukcod4.pickup on IRC and try get mixes, or go on to http://clanbase.ggl.com and try and join a clan.

@Toughy I'm not anyone, just involved in the cod4 scene both in ireland and europe, not at any great level, just trying to help build up the scene by giving out the little info i do know..

also there is nothing wrong with pickups if you cant get a team and want some mix games. hardly "fail". some of the better players in europe play on it. good for a few laughs and a bit of practice in a pretend match setting.

@nueromancer, BiT are a good clan, good luck with them. i know v1p3r who was in it, dont know if he still is.

I personally don't think cod is a game for montages, games like gears of war and halo are the only two that i like to see montages made from.
