hey guys...... I did a search there, but couldn't really find anything on it.

Out of curiosity, what sites do ye use for bulk buying of golf balls online?
I'll probably be buying for a few people so could end up getting approx 200+ balls. Must be good deals out there.

Looking to get pro V1s (personally anyway). I'm not an expert, but I have found I really love playing with this ball from 120y and in. So confident with it.
I'm fine with lakeballs. I've purchased pearl quality pro v1s before and they were excellent. Think my next batch will be Grade A version.

    Sites I've come across:
    http://www.tgolf.tk/
Have heard good things about the site and can get 50 pro v1 Grade A balls for £59.

    http://www.golfballsinternational.com

    Any other links or advice?

I'd love to pick up some of these cheap Pro V1's though I haven't been playing enough to be confident that I won't lose one on every shot!

What's the average life-span of one of these balls, assuming of course it's not lost to the course!!

Thats actually great price for new V1s, tempting... but think I'll still go with the cheaper model for now.

Do any people on here know any good websites for buying practice balls? i've seen a few but postage is fairly hefty when added to the price of the balls. Any help would be greatly appreciated

well, delivery is going to be the same no matter what quality of ball you're buying... so the practice ones it will seem expensive. What number of balls you looking for?

You can get 500 mixed bag practice balls for £50 delivered from the website I bought from today.

Can you pick and choose the balls? i.e. 50 callaway and 50 titleist? What about types of balls.
Majority of people like to play with certain types of balls. Obviously others don't care.

For your own benefit, I ordered 150 balls and delivery was £10* from UK.

*This was a standard delivery price. Same for 20 balls, not sure how high the number could have gone.

Good stuff... down that way tomorrow I think.
Do the new v1x spin more than the old? I played with one for the first time on Saturday and spun a short 50 yard pitch with a gap wedge back off the green which was strange for me... maybe it was one of them rare 'off the middle bit of the club with a half decent swing' shots

Yes, think the new pro v1x has softer core for more spin alright.

    Licksy,
Over on golfwrx there are conflicting reports about the new ProV1x. Some are saying its more durable than the old one others are saying its less durable than the old one. There hasn't been too much talk about its spin, with most saying that the spin is similar to the old one, maybe slightly more due to the new grove rules coming in for the pros in 2010.

There doesn't seem to be consensus over them on golfwrx

    Regards
    Ian

Premier Lake Balls in the UK are also on Ebay UK. I contacted them recently as I was low on golf balls. They will post up to 400 Golf Balls for £14.00 sterling.
Excellent value. They have 100% feedback, it may be worth a look.

Received the balls on Friday. I am absolutely shocked at the quality. They're excellent. Much better than I thought as I purchased the Grade A instead of the Pearl.
Might be worth considering getting the Grade B for my practise rounds going forward.

That's great value. Why can the local clubs do something like this.?
The demand is there for golf balls. Additionally, if they were at the right price, people would use a new ball more often.

That's pretty good, could do with some like this as mine are generally very attracted to water/undergrowth!

Does anyone know of any Centra's in Kildare or West Dublin doing this deal.

    Cheers,

Played with the balls the last two rounds. They are good quality no doubt. They don't feel quite as soft around the green as a new one would though. That is noticeable. Still very happy with them.

100 Grade A Top End mix
    50 Grade A Pro V1s.

Don't know if it has been mentioned already but Heatons is a good shop for balls. I always buy balls there, and often get the cheapest of the cheap i.e. Donnay Titanium (around 40 cent a ball last time I checked) Good balls for most golfers.
