Two articles I liked on the subject:

1 - A semantic technique for SEO copywriters
2 - SEO myths and the power of repetition

As regards my views, I don't spend any time working on this specifically. I just write content for my site that I think will be useful and relevant and by doing so cover many related keywords and topics.

You’ll end up saying many things similar to what other people say about the topic, and you won’t even know you are.
