    Swings is one for me :)

    (Swinging as well, but mainly just normal swings :P ... same for dogs and dogging, obviously!)

    people freaking out when a pigeon flies near them - also when a bee gets too close and you see a person swinging their arms and generally looking like a tool.

    the reaction of my nephew when he tasted his first "yellow orange" (lemon) as a child - couldn't resist telling him it was nicer then the orange colour ones before giving him a half to bite in to. ah still brings a chuckle

    That's adorable.

    I also get really happy when people quote Bill Bailey or The IT Crowd.

    "Hello IT? Have you tried turning it off and on again?"
    :pac:

    that's not quoting the IT crowd - I've been dealing with IT areas who have been doing that for years! .....it often works which is annoying. :)

    For me, the warmth of the sun while the birds are singing.
    It just brings back lots of childhood memories of playing in the garden and thinking all is right with the world.

    And if turning it off and on again doesn't work... try plugging it in ;)

    Fine, a better IT Crowd quote ;

    Roy: [singing] We don't need no education.
    Moss: Yes you do. You've just used a double negative.

    The smell of coffee in the morning is a good one. And being woken just a little early, by the sun streaming in the window.

    I love the sound of a train in the distance, and the sound of gentle waves lapping on the beach.

    When I was young living in Canada, I used to love the smell of the sidewalk after a shower of rain.

    But after living here for 13 years, the novelty has kind of worn off..!:rolleyes:
