OP it sounds as if you are ready to ask him, afterall you're 23, time to settle down and think about your future.

If he supports Manchester United you could try turning off the tv during the Champions League-thing-a-me-jig .

You obviously love your bf, no question. Nobody can here can say when its the right time for you both, but I know I wouldn't. Theres nothing wrong with a girl proposing to a guy per sé, but my view on it would be to leave it up to him to do the proposing. When he does, it means hes ready for it.

I'm 23 and got engaged last November, getting married next October. Don't let your age put you off, if you feel it's right go for it. How long are you with him? The only thing I'll say is there's no point in doing it until you're realistically prepared to get married, ie can afford it, have somewhere to live etc. There's no point popping the question now and not getting married for another 10 years.
