hey guys, i've heard the new(ish) gym above tescos in kilbarrack is pretty good. i'm currently in total fatness but its about to run out and the adult rate is nearly 600e for the year (over 800 direct debit) so i'm looking to switch.
anyone here been in? any use?

I heard it was good as well and you can pay by the month.. In westwood myself but it's pricey. Probably twice as much as this place..

tried it out myself last week with a mate. its OK, but the male changing room is very warm (aircon is crap up there). other than that its OK as a place we can both train in once a week as the pay as you go is 7 a day. however the subs of 15 a week are every bit as dear as total fatness and it doesn't have a pool or other facilities that fatness would have

Hey, if its the one I am thinking of it will be a good gym, I use to training in Power House in town, I have heard that the guys who owned that opened a new gym in Kilbarrack, it must be them. They run a good gym and when I was training in Power House the membership was 12€ per week. Not bad, you should check them out

Its Lenny Murphy & Larry Delaney, same guys.

I haven't been in it, but both have been competitive body builders for many years & know their stuff.

It really depends on who the guys are aiming their facilities at, the recreational trainer or the hardcore BB'er like they had in Power House & Unique as to what the gym will be like.

If their after a hardcore membership it'll be a fantastic place for just that, the 'rec-trainer', well tbh I wouldn't have a clue.

This is good news, I'll certainly use it from time to time if you can always PAYG.

Nice to be only a 15 minute walk away!
