    Hi

I've started doing rebounding classes in the gym over the last few weeks.
They are 45min (20 min of bounce) and the rest stretches / squats/ lunges.

I'm doing 2 of these a week and a few good long walks.

can anyone tell me if it is bad to do too many of these classes? The instucter varies so the class is always a different workout.

I have been doing them for about 3 weeks now and not really seen the denefit in my weight

    What's 'bounce'?

You might not be doing enough, walking is great of course, but depending on your current weight it may not have much of an impact, you really need to get your heart rate up, and 2 classes a week is probably not enough.

More importantly, your diet needs to be in order, because no amount of classes or walking will work if your diet is crap.

    Hi There,

Rebounding is an excellent workout not only to burn fat but also because of all the additional benefits on the lyphnatic drainage system. You mentioned you bounce for 20 minutes, you would need to bounce hard after a warm out to get your heart rate up to go into a training zone(i.e start burning calories), and also to raise your matobolism. Weight lifting will also increase your matobolism for up to 15 hours post workout so it would be great if you could combine the two. Walking is great but you will also need to walk very fast to go into training zone (hense the postman on the bike that never looses any weight, as he stops and starts all the time).
A good rebounding workout should last 45 minutes. If you have being eating well i suggest that you forget about the weighing scales and concentrate on inch loss and get your body fat calculated as it will certainly reduce if your rebounding twice a week. Good luck.;)

Are you still going to the classes? Where are they on and how much do they cost?
    Thanks!

    Hi,

I've recently heard about Rebounding classes and would love to try them. Is there many class locations in Dublin? Preferrably northside or city centre?
How much are they and how long do they last, would you recommend these classes?

    All info welcome...
