Okay didn't see a thread on this in the last two pages of threads, soooo....

Anyway else very interested in the Kojima upcoming announcement or teaser website http://www.konami.jp/kojima_pro/next/
Now with countdown timer for about 0200 this morning!
cannot wait, they had better not disappoint though!

Seemed a bit ridiculous to me as well. Especially since there has been absolutey no confirmation it is a Metal Gear Game.

No confirmation of it being a PS3 game either though, could be a Xbox 360 exclusive, ohh well we shall find out in 40mins.

All I know is that I can see someone that looks spitting image of raiden to the left but then again I could be wrong.

when its letters are flashing during the lightning, its alternating between e & 3....or maybe im goin nuts from 2 much study & sleep deprivation! edit: its also still showing "5"

What I'm seeing is 5, E, 3, and e, or at least thats what it looks like to me.

EDIT: 119 hours isn't saturday week, it's 5 days time which is wednesday isn't it? or am I suffering from sleep deprivation too.

I think I can see it but I don't know maybe I am just seeing the 5.

There musthave been a problem with mine because only now e3 is showing up. Btw check this out:

apparently whoever posted that the countdown had 119hrs remaining and my clock has 199hrs remaining.

also on 2 different laptops it showed different times coming up to the last 5mins on my laptop it showed 5mins and on my brothers it showed 1min.

I'm a massive MGS and Kojima fan but who cares about this teaser? Kojima has said that he was disappointed that MGS4 didn't take the series as far as it could go and that he will make another to satisfy himself. It will be announced at some point.

If the evolution of the MGS series on the Playstation 2 is anything to go by, MGS5 will be really good.

It's a countdown to E3 obviously. We'll probably get a teaser that shows nothing there.

As for no exchanging of ideas within Konami? I'd say it happens a lot with kojima productions since they are practically a second party of konami now.

5@E3 - I think it's pretty obvious now. Also, Famitsu's upcoming Playstation issue will apparently feature news of the next Metal Gear game :rolleyes:

I moved the original thread from here to MGS specifically because the vast majority of discussion surrounded MGS, and the title was "New Metal Gear Solid game????". As I said, no point in having a (mostly) MGS discussion in another forum when there's an MGS forum.

And I also stated that, despite PS getting more traffic, there would be a perm link over to the thread.

hhmmm. i like your thinking. but playing a MGS game as Raiden in the ninja getup wouldn't really be a MGS game. The sneaking part of the game would more or less be gone because of Camo.

But i would still be excited by that.

look behind the timer, the last number (aka the seconds) is technically in his right eye, if you look just below that you will see the outline of a nose, just inder that, you guessed it, a moustache and lips and then you can make out the eyepatch.....looks to me like our pal snake!
