Just some of the pics that accompany the articles here
I seem to remember quite a few fans of these old time guys so I said I'd share.
Personally I find these articles, some dating back 60 or 70 years, very interesting but I can't help but read them in a spritely english accent, think 1923 FA Cup Final commentator.
This image in particular caught my eye.
That apparently is 784lbs. He didn't even take his tie off! For the record, he's Irish.
