Arsenal ,Chelsea, West Ham, Man City are most likely wins, Liverpool next (but have nasty suspicion Spurs will be the only club to do the double on Pool for some reason),
Fulham/Everton draw no bet, Wigan/Pompey draw no bet, Blackburn/West Brom draw no bet Hull/Man Utd draw no bet if Utd play the kids. Villa/Newcastle could be anything tbh.

Could go anyway really since last day of the season. I'd fancy the big 4 to come through, could be anything after that!

Staying away from the Premiership and sticking to the Bundesliga this weekend. Everything to play for and the top teams against the lower teams some of whom are already relegated and nothing to play for.

Depending on the United team sheet though I might fancy Hull, might put the down before its announced and if the team sheet is the youth/reserves putting down a fiver on them or so depending on the odds.

Having a punt on Karlsruher to beat the leader Herta Berlin

playing at home and need to win to stay up.

likewise for Sporting Gijon in la liga away to valladolid

Dortmund have to win also away from home to sustain interest in next years cl

Everton I fancy will win this weekend, long due a win at fulham but never say never.

Nurnberg also should win at home to 1860 munich
and Arsenal have to beat Stoke at home

this long shot 6 fold pays 169/1

I'm aware Manchester United are going to field a weaker team, but they are 11/8 on PP to win. They're pretty good odds considering Hull are useless.

and the youngsters will be really up for the match so i expect a utd win there

iv gone for an accum with the big 4 including the big 2 in SPL

Last matches of the season, nothing is a gimma.
MU, Chelsea, Liverpool & Arsenal nothing to play for so may play very "weak" teams especially MU with CL Final 4 days away & Chelsea FA Cup a week away.
Newcastle, Boro, Hull & Sunderland all fighting for their lives.
Celtic should win but Rangers mightn't so Celtic to win the League at 5/2 might be worth a look (if Rangers don't win, Celtic have the better goal difference).

Wrong wrong wrong! Rafa won't do that- he wants to see 86 points and another clean sheet so Reina can win the golden glove award again. Wenger will want to end the season on a win as well I belive.

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,858 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

Not a hope Liverpool won't be up for this (not as much as they would if there was a title to play for of course), but chance to finish on 86 points, Reina to get 21 clean sheets, unbeaten home record, Gerrard only 2 goals behind for top scorer, avenge that crazy defeat in November, the Robbie Keane thing, and also last game of the season at Anfield is always an occasion anyhow.

Having said that though, with second place all but sown up who knows, but I would be shocked if pool were not up for it.

As for the rest of the games, I woulnd't really touch them with a bargepole tbh.

Liverpool/draw no bet would have been on the safest bets of the season having lost 2 only games in the prem.

    Chelsea Win
    Fulham Win
    Hull DNB

you say liverpool dodgy to back  -
liverpool only 2 defeats all season in the premiership.!

    NO!!!!
But i've taken into account the 11 draws  they have this season, so there for anybody who was backing liverpool not to lose each week came up with a nice profit,

Grr :D - 11 you are correct. I stand corrected!

Yes anybody who backing them not to lose would be a rich man but the the bet is a win only so the poster is taking a chance! ;)

No. If the "draw no bet" team lose the coupon is ruined. If they draw it's only taken out of the coupon so the rest of the acc would be ok.

    ahhh

seems ok then, as a draw could be a possibility.

odds of 1.4? nothing special to be honest. Maybe it would be better for you to go on bayern to win at 1.66?

What do you think of my bet?

    Arsenal 1.33 win
    Chelsea 1.36 draw no bet
    Liverpool 1.16 draw no bet

    €100 on
    €212.22 returns
 couldnt go wrong there could I??

Leave them out - I would rather 4-5 excl. Liverpool in any bet rather than 11-10 with them in. They have a habit of ruining betslips when you least expect it.

    have the following:
    Man U 11/8
    West Ham 5/4
    Bayer Leverkusen 13/8
    Chelsea 10/11
    Hertha Berlin 4/6

    44/1 !

    Have fourfolds as well

    For me it's:
Fulham to beat Everton - Fulham only lost 4 league games at home this season and I think Everton can't but have an eye on the cup final. 11/10

Villa to beat Newcastle - I just can't see how Newcastle can win this. I appreciate that Villa have been in poor form but Newcastle are just piss poor. As I saw a quote yesterday, "Shearers managerial success is a win over Boro" and I don't see that changing tomorrow. 5/4

City to beat Bolton - nailed on IMO. 3/4

West Ham to beat Boro - In their own heads I'd say the Boro players are already down. If word comes through of a goal for Hull, Sunderland or Newcastle, I think it'll compound their pessimism so for me 5/4 is great value.

    €50 pays €930.

    Hull/ManU 0-0 draw @14/1

Uniteds B team but with a very solid back four and probably two holding midfielders in Gibson and Fletcher.

Draw would probably suit both teams.
