    Hey Folks,

A mate of mine has just launched a new supps web site and would appreciate some feedback in terms of look, navigation, price, shipping etc.

    http://www.fssn.ie/

Some of you may know his shop First Stop Sports Nutrition shop running in Naas for well over a year now.

    Don't hold back.

    Thanks in advance

    first off,
Main page layout seems good. Easy to find what supp your looking for.
Easy colours in my opinion and they work well. I also like the choice of pictures, not too much, not too little.
Contact us area is simple which i like, maybe add a phone number in?
Looking through the creatine and protein menus now. Is there any specific layout involved? Maybe have it appear in alphabetical order or in order of price?

Overall i like it because its easy to use.

First I looked at, typo on protein and no weight mentioned...

I also like to see full ingredients lists and nutritional info if available, if not on the pack they should contact the supplier. As it is flavoured it cannot be 100% whey.

I also like to see both lb and kilos mentioned for easy comparison, and price per kilo, price per lb (at least per kilo)
Contact us area is simple which i like, maybe add a phone number in?
Info here, which is good, all online stores should have a proper address.

You could try adding in the nutritional info of the products. It makes it easier than having to google them, and you can compare products easily, though I know it might be a bit of a pain to do it! :)

Also maybe a phone number and address - some people like to see that when they are shopping on the net as security / reassurance. maybe post in the web dev or enterprise forums as well - they usually have some good feedback of what you need on a business web site.

Oh and the sports packs are a good idea! Maybe offer a few more and highlight the saving more?

That pic seems to be all over the place in fairness. I've seen it in a good few ads at this stage.

use images rather than text for the navigation links, for a start.

the logo needs vast improving. every good website has a good logo.

Actually from a usablity POV CSS would be far better than images. Think of people with slow internet connections etc. Much quicker loading times.

sure why not remove all images for the people on dial up? :pac:

if you have the same image behind each of the nav links it would hardly make any difference at all

i personally think the text links look cheap and unproffessional, but thats just my opinion
