It's the exact same advice, and the exact same article that's been published at least monthly for the last 3-4 years.

I realise that, it was the video that I found impressive. I've read tons of articles on bench form and try and improve it every week, but it was still very good to see a proper set up in detail, which I've never seen in the gym.

I should really study, found a similar interview somewhere else lately but cant for the life of me remember where!

This is actually a brand new interview that was posted online about a week before the t-nation article. Dave doesn't just talk benching in here either. He talks about back and hamstring training as well as motivation and mindset tips for success.

I know it's a "new" article, but there's not really any new info if you get what I mean?

Maybe I'm just saying that cos I'm aware of who Dave Tate is, I've read Under The Bar and most of his articles and visit his site quite frequently, but everything he could possibly say has already been said 10x over. It's not a criticism of him, his business or knowledge, he's just been so visible, and so forthcoming with information that pretty much everything he can say has been said, multiple times over!

How the hell did Jimmy spot this thread?

    Maybe Dave reads here too!

Maybe Mark Rippetoe does as well.... Hey Mark, everything you hold dear is WRONG!

Thanks for clearing that up. Sure, everyone holds certain principles that they repeat but this was actually the first conversation that I've had with Dave so I threw out somethings that he may not have talked about before.
