    Hey,

    just after buying a pulley system for my power rack. havent really used one too much before, but wanted it for my next piece of gear. what attachtments would you recomend to get started.

    What other equipment do you have apart from the pulley? That will probably influence what people recommend.

    The main (only?) stuff I would use a pulley for would be:

    - face pulls
    - ab pull downs

    ... so you would need with this kind of rope attachment.

    I spotted pulleys in woodies the other day, had some other name, I think castors, I looked on ebay and saw very few under "pulley". They had rope thimbles too in woodies.

    Cheapskate one to get you started would be to simply get some rope and tie it to a towel. Make sure the knots are good. This site is good http://www.animatedknots.com/

    I used worm drive, AKA jubilee clips on my rope to attach to thinner rope

    This allows it to loop into itself over a chinup bar and is easily removable. My new toy is a load of trampoline springs which have huge resistance, they have hooks on the end and look like this.
