is it just me or does the bfg look like a p90 on ridic growth hormones? could be the base aeg to work a body kit around! :P

when i first saw the thread title, first thing i thought before even looking in it was predator shoulder cannon so hell yeah to that!

some sort of chainsaw shaped aeg, that had ports for shooting out bb's angled forward where the teeth would normally be! would go well with the zombie night games! maybe some sort of arm mounted version to get a b-movie revival going..:rolleyes:

From imagination, the one I'd love most is the Morita rifle from Starship Troopers. Not the scrawny ass carbine either, the full size one with the shotgun underneath.



And it's completely possible because someone on Arnies built one from an RS Ruger Bullpup conversion kit (which the Morita is based on) and there's even a classic of the mini-7 already available (although it's rare and I wouldn't want to convert it because of that).

From reality, The H&K OICW, GMG/Mk19 and a DShK.

The OICW would be excellent, but only if the cannon system worked somehow. Possibly as some form of burst shotgun like the TM or DE systems, but gas powered so it could be semi auto. For sheer fun it'd be excellent if it had a Maruzen shell-loaded gas shottie in there. It'd make it impractical for skirmishing but it'd mean you'd have an excellent looking shell ejection.
The lower half is just a modified G36 really, but the whole fire selector system would need to be redesigned (which, during a dull day in work, I actually did).

GMG/Mk19 would be ridiculously expensive to run and completely useless given the effective range of any airsoft 40mm grenade munition vs the size of the gun itself. That said, it'd look bloody awesome and be excellent fun for the 30 seconds or so you have before you run out of your 500 bucks worth of grenades.

The DShK would be similarly useless in that it's not portable, but it'd make a seriously good looking emplacement gun and isn't hugely difficult to make. Great for some big events like Berget where you could feasibly mount one in a vehicle, or as an objective or force multiplier in a regular skirmish or milsim. It's also that little bit more possible than my other dream emplacement gun for a skirmish; a Bofors 40...



Edit: And just for the hell of being off the wall, I'd also love a fully operational and autonomous Phalanx or Goalpost. For base defence rather than naval defence obviously.

A lot of those Sci Fi guns are completely impractical even if they do look good, most of them are to bulky and heavy. Although the award for bulky and impractical must go to a real life gun.........the OICW, that thing was hilariously bad.

And yet it's top of my list for an airsoft rifle I really want someone to make. Well, it is now that the G&G are doing the FN2000 and I'm already in a queue for the Tavor.
I have a thing for bullpups and bulky, OTT looking rifles though, so I'm somewhat biased. It just so happens the Morita is bulky, OTT and a bullpup with a pump action shotgun strapped to its belly. To me that's bloody perfect.
The OICW is just ugly in the same way an AC-130 is. Ugly, cumbersome and a pain in the arse at times, but with the added ability to instil fear.

I like bulpups too, the FN 2000 is beautiful. I'd also love it if someone made an airsoft OC 14 "Groza".

I can't see why not. The kit is only about $130 so I was half considering it myself. Check Arnies, someone in the UK built the Morita from one of those kits. It's fully functional as far as I know. I'd say the accuracy would be impressive, the barrel in that would be as long, or longer, than a PSG-1. Even the RS muzzelite has a heck of a barrel for it's size.
