Can someone outlined what an example of a low cost healthy fitness diet would be as I am trying to save some money.

I know a fair bit about nutrition and exercise but I would like some tips if possible on how to make it as cheap as possible here's the cheapest diet I can think of that would be geared towards fat-loss and muscle gain/ or at least minimise muscle breakdown

6.30 bowl of porridge and scrambled egg whites

9.30 bowl of porridge and whey drink

12.30 chicken breast brown rice and broccoli

3.00 whey drink and a banana

    4.00 workout

5.00 salmon or lean steak or chicken, baked potato and cauliflour

8.00 whey drink and 1 tablespoon of flax oil

    *Mercury Debate*

To be honest, if ye really wanna get the most out of a bulking diet, it will usually cost a bit more
[Whey, lots of meat & supps add up]

As per above, try replacing one/some of ur shakes with a can of Tuna

The rest of the diet seems alright

Just make sure your workout leaves your muscles cryin out for the food!

Juan's 'routine' is a work in progress - always evolving towards perfection.

Gammon steaks are cheap protein - a fair bit of salt, but once your not eating lots of salt elsewhere, should be fine. I wouldn't throw out all those egg yolks either - nothing wrong with a few of them in a healthy diet. Lentils are cheap, various beans (not baked) are cheap.
