So this is ok, 1 rule for one, this dos not matter, if the game was in 2 months id say ok they might fill in all the details soon, i think if people started to fill in what a person needs to know about there tourny then we would not need the sticky or the MODS

they didn't copy and paste the list but all important info is there, tourney organisers copy and paste the list and leave some answers blank all the time, prob for various reasons, your the first person to ever complain about the se doing this which shows it's not a big issue, no need to be nit picking for the sake of it

lol, its a monkey crapshoot with 20 minute levels - it will be more about running well than playing well.

I actually thought the 25 minute levels came in at level 5 when i first glanced it. Didnt realise it was level 13. No point changing to 25 mins, becuase it will be a crapshoot for sure once it reaches 1k/2k

This should be 25/30 minute levels throughout

Depending on numbers tony I will see if we ask they may make it 25 earlier as its not a regular event.Doesnt hurt to ask anyhow

    Im in

    last longer too obv

in fairness 25 min levels would be great. my experience is that these games go very slow due to alot of players not sure what they have in plo.

last roe game in the se got bout 5 hands an hour in! lol

should be a good game. Id encourage most to make their way in

    22 Runners for this Tournament.

A few players discussed the Clock with P.J, the Tournament Director before the start. The decision was made to start with 25 minutes levels and increase to 30 minutes from the 600 - 1,200 level. Currently there are 14 players left, blinds are 150 - 300 with an average stack of 12,000 (40 big blinds). Unless anybody strongly disagrees, this will be the structure for next Tuesday's Round of Each Tournament ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,218 ✭✭✭NuckChorris1

Played tonight and enjoyed the game. Happy with structure and stacks. Final 4 or 5 was pretty deep and no pressure from the clock or blinds.

I destroyed that Rory Brown fella heads up last night, hes suppose to be some big online omaha player  :p

Nah just joking, got heads up with Rory last night and he went on to take it down and also won the last longest so a nice little result for him, well done again Rory. Was thinking about squeezeing one hand against him, glad i didnt he had the Aces.

Still a little iffy on starting hands and where to play them from, but im sure with some more game time i will get the hang of this a little better. Really enjoyable game.

WP SE. Didn't manage to make it in last night but I'll make a greater effort next week.

Also congrats to Rory and Danny. Glad to see Noel didn't cash in on the last longer.

Nice one Danny, wp. I'll take my cut next time i see you :)

You played well at the final table. Pretty selective with starting hands, and playing them aggressive and letting others clash with marginal hands. Nice result for Rory too, glad to see him do well and use his stack to perfection.

Good game tonight. There was a slight despute at the start whether we swicthed games at the end of every level, or after a round of the table. There was arguments for both.

Also glad to see they left the 25 chips on until the 400/800 level :D

    Well done Danny!

I went out with a whimper rather than a bang, was card dead all damn night. Danny, at one point I potted it from the button when it was folded to me, I had QQJ7 with one suit. Al flat called in the SB and you re-potted. We both folded - I regret not getting it in here (calling you would pot-commit me), it seemed like a good spot for you to squeeze and I was thinking later that you might not have respected the raise from the button.

Looking forward to playing this again.

enjoyed my brief run in this last night
    hopefully this tournie kicks off
would love to play a regular omaha only tournie anyone else interested?
also wp Danny Rory and SE

Good result last night Rory, played the yamaha agressively as required - but still bit gutted by my exit hand in 3rd, twas a pretty big pot! Nice score when the last-longest is added to 1st place. Also wp Danny, no more underplaying your omaha play after this!

Fergus, I'd be interested in any Omaha game Mon-thurs, also on the HORSE game you were checking out interest in the prev night (even if that was a STT run somewhere alongside their main game. At least 10 interested players req obv).

    Ronan.

Yeah i remember the hand, just a small mistake regards the hand, after a longish dwell Al eventually called and checked it to me and i stuck it all in.

I would never in a million years try and squeeze in omaha, back to the hand itself i had AAxx one suit (cant recall the other cards), chatting with Tony at the break he said if you get the chance to get a good bet in with them and are able to get the rest in on the flop you probably should (something along those lines iirc)

I for one respect your game and never really like tangling in a hand with you as you have in the last couple of times we played you seemed to have my number each time :(
