I'm afraid 4 stone in 3 months is highly unlikely. It would take roughly 6-8 months to lose that, however you can make huge changes in 3 months.

I recommend reading this and then asking any question you may have here. First and foremost you need to have a good diet, as is said so often, you can't out train a good diet.

Hi Thanks for the link and the advice. I thought I might be a bit unrealistic. So realistically with a good diet and 3 weight session along with 4 cardio sessions. What can a realistically expect to loose a month. I would ideally like to get back to 11 stone 10

As far as I know, the ideal weight loss is 2 or 3lbs a week. Since you'll be doing weight training also, you can't really rely on the scales to see how much you're loosing as you'll be adding a bit of muscle & muscle weighs more then fat. If you keep up with a good diet & do your 4 days of good cardio you'll be flying it at the end of 3 months!
Will you be using the gym?
I don't know what others think of this, but you can always do Cardio & weight training in the one gym training day.
I do half hour running on the treadmill, stretch out & then 45 mins in the weight section, then some road running during the week & weekend & a body sculpting classes twice a week.
Just don't over-do it when you first get back into it or you'll end up injured!
I'm also a veggie :) Good on ya ;)

    Generally speaking, you're right.

Buuuuut the more you have, the more you can lose. One thing that irks me is people throwing out the blanket 2-3lb recommendation regardless of whether it's a 165lb girl, or 280lb guy!!

2 months to drop 56lb is really pushing it imo, especially if you start to lift weights cos you can expect a weight gain from that (muscle like). All ya can do is put the head down and work on it and see where you end up. If ya only make it to 11 stone you'll still be in A LOT better shape than you are now.

U must make your own program to fit around your schedule- make a nutrition plan, a weights plan and a cardio plan- give yourself 2 weeks to research all you need to know-aim to lose one pound a week(youl lose more at the start naturally)or else your losing some muscle with the fat-gud luck!
