help describing problem with svideo

    magnet upgraded the software on their stb overnight
    it used to output s-video over scart perfectly but now is producing the above image

    if i switch the tv to normal scart input (non svideo) it displays a normal picture - even with the stb set to s-video, wchich makes me think the box isnt outputting svideo at all.

    the guys in magnet are escalating my case to the dev team but they i am having difficulty exlaining the problem i am having

    can anyone help describe the above probvlem (or suggest a fix)

    tv is a samsung series 6, but getting the same issue with vista (pvr-150) and a small 19 lcd upstairs
