Some guy in England decided to help his son lose his virginity by propositioning a prostitute with his young lad sitting beside him in the car. Unfortunately for him the woman he approached was an undercover cop. He admitted in court to trying to solicit a woman to have sex with a child. He avoided jail because of his previous good character and his son is still allowed live with him.

Some man, but 14 is a little bit too young for this sort of thing. One other point of interest is that the dad is now on the sex offenders register for 5 years. Presumably the son must of been quite eager for this to happen. It seems a bit harsh to end up on the sex offenders list although i can understand it if the boy wasn't willing.

A father who asked an undercover police officer posing as a prostitute to take his 14-year-old son's virginity has been given a suspended prison sentence.

The man from Bulwell, Nottingham, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was given a 10-month suspended jail term.

Nottingham Crown Court heard the man, 42, had approached the undercover policewoman in the Mapperley area in July believing her to be a prostitute.

He admitted trying to solicit a woman to have sex with a child.

You have a duty of care to your son to look after his moral welfare, not to break him into the ways of sex through a prostitute

The court heard the father was arrested during an undercover operation by the city's vice squad.

The man drove up to the undercover officer and asked her how much she would charge for sex with his son, who was sitting next to him in the car.

Judge Jonathan Teare said he was not sending the father to prison because of his previous excellent character and that he believed he did not mean any harm to his son.

He said: "What you were doing that night was to expose your 14-year-old son to a prostitute because you didn't know she was a police officer.

"You have a duty of care to your son and that is to look after his moral welfare not, as you might think, to break him into the ways of sex through a prostitute."

The father's barrister Matthew Smith said: "There is a thorough sense of shame the defendant feels.

"It's completely at odds with every other part of his character."

Mr Smith added that the boy would be allowed to continue to live with his father.

The defendant will be placed on the sex offenders register for five years.

Imagine if a mother had her 14 year old daughter in the car, and was looking for strangers to have sex with her. Older men, I'd assume. I'd say that mother was definitely a sex offender.

And being a man with a son doesn't make it better.

Either way, it's wrong.

Is that "some man" in an admiring sort of way? Why do you find it "a bit harsh" that he was put on the sex offenders register? I'm amazed he didnt get jail! How can they let the son still live with him? He's a pathetic excuse of a father. Great way to fcuk up your sons sexual development

I'm completely serious, I see no problem with it at all. Prostitution should be legal as it's not immoral, and better his dad sorting him out and making sure his sons first time is in a controlled environment (with a professional no less) than him drunkenly shagging some randomer in the alley behind the local teenage disco.

his father should be playing football with him of computer games,helpin him with homework.... i agree parents should have more relaxed attitude with their kids when it come to sex...the father could have allowed 'the child' to have sex with a girl of his own age in his house after the disco.in a controlled environment... its not natural to have ur father to pay for sex for u at 14....he is still a child!

I honestly don't think it should be frowned upon to such an extent. The boy could have been trying to mount girls his age and lets be honest, sooner or later he'd be likely to get one pregnant.

At least with a prostitute, the father can be sure that the son won't cause any collateral damage as a result of his urge to bone something

Biologically he is able to have sex at the ago of 14, I fail to see how you consider that unnatural. Not everyone shares your conception of childhood.

Of course, but surely his son having sex with a prostitute is safer than a 13-14 yo girl who may not understand what is happening, regardless of contraception.
I'm just assuming that the dad did it in good faith though, and could be totally wrong on that =p

Let's be honest it's a Victorian invention and it tells massive lies to children about the ape we are. Lie after lie after lie. And not just about something as hilariously monkeylike as sex either but the whole fvcken shebang. If we ever get out of the hypocrisy and tell the children the Truth, then there's a different world out there for the taking IMO.

As for the father being on the sex offenders register, but his name not being released; He's from Nottingham and has just been put on the register for five years. Rocket science it is not.

Ok prostitution in immoral in a religious point of view, but the the people that yell this the loudest are usually the biggest frequenters of such. I don't really see a problem with it persay as long as it is legalised and fully regulated with STI screening and condom usage by punters. Women should not be coerced into it and be free to stop when ever they wish.

As for the father and son, the biggest issue I see in the Police entrapment and how the guy was stitched up proper by the female copper. No father should ever buy his son a prostitute or even condone it as it is not parently, ok the son and tbh we all at 14 would think he was one great father, however that kid at 24 will think my father was one as*hole. Teenagers should be taught to respect the beauty of imtimacy and sex and not bring it down to a simple disposable sex on a tap PAYG hooker.

It was idiotic of the father and I would question his ability as a father. Let the son do it himself later in life if he so wishes but don't encourage him. When I was 16 me and some more got into a stripjoint in NY (long story:rolleyes:) and with our hormones rushing and just been typical teenagers we would have slept with near anything, basically restraint and maybe a playboy would be the best answer to the randy son; not endangering him of every STI under the sun with a hooker who had more partners than days in the year.

Oh yes, in situations like this there'll always be pathetic yells of "legend!", "he da maaaan!" etc. It is indeed hilariously pitiful.
In my opinion, it would be less ****ed up for a 14-year-old boy to be educated comprehensively about contraception, and then to experience sexual activity with another 14-year-old and learn to perfect things as he gets older and more practice... rather than a cold **** for money by a grown woman, paid for by his father. It's not as if he'd learn a whole lot from it and he's likely to be disappointed with sex afterwards. It's literally just a case of getting his virginity out of the way. I wouldn't be surprised if he hadn't begged his dad for it and it was his dad's idea... to make his son into a "maaaan". And so what if we're sexual beings at 14? What on earth is the rush? Yeah, childhood is being artificially prolonged, but isn't this a case of giving kids mixed messages? "You're a child at 12... you're now an adult at 14" - no gradual conversion. Hardly fair on them.
