Your diet probably needs to be addressed so post your typical daily food intake first.

You should be eating 5 to 6 times a day (no chips or deli food) Cut down on the drink would be even better if your stopped drinking. Hit the gym do loads of cardio and weights.

As i said, i wasn't being smart - i did actually know what changes you should make. I ask for two reasons:

    (a) there is plenty of obvious things in peoples diets which they should be able to spot straight off and look at correcting themselves; and

    (b) often what people think is healthy etc isn't, so i would like to see what you're conceptions are first.

Also, there are some great resources in here in the stickies, so i often think it would be better for people to have a read through them first and attempt to come up with they're own diets first which they know they can stick to, rather than being giving diets which work for someobdy else but which they would not enjoy.

No a good diet is. Simple as. Weights are a great help once you have the diet sorted, but won't do anything on their own.

You need to do both weights and cardio (running, cycling etc.). Both are just as important for losing weight. When you start to do cadio regularly you start to feel fit no matter how much weight you are carrying. That itself is a great feel good factor and encourages you to eat well.
