Tell me, please tell me what difference it would make. One gaggle of mallet heads leaves and another enters.

My ballot paper would be better served wiping my ass.

Im impressed at the two ridiculous generalization tangents you went off on there that make no contribution to the crux of your arguement..(which I'm still trying to fathom).

OK, I might open an ear of two to independents or some radicals (well they'd be considered that from the current Gov's point of view but talking sense from the lay mans point of view)

Failing that, I'll spoil the vote - to keep you guys happy

but I'll spoil it with excrement to keep me happy :D

First time ever voting. It's great to be 18.

Anyway my pick will be one Labour and Fine Gael. Mary Upton or Rebecca Moynihan (my mates aunt so I've been begged to vote for her) from Labour and Clare Byrne from Fine Gael.

I know one of the Libertas PR guys. From what he tells me I wouldn't trust them with a lollipop, let alone a country. They're so pro-US/anti-EU it's scary.

Not Mary Uoton anyway as her "constituency office" has magically appeared as if from nowhere last week and will disappear again a week after the elections. I hate that.

Not going to vote for Fianna Fail (because they fail)

Eh, I'm thinking of voting for Fine Gael because they're the party most likely to get in and I dont want to waste a vote voting for someone in a party that won't get in (I'll have to look over the leaflets to see if any of them Gael and non-Gael are any good)

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 10,661 ✭✭✭✭John Mason

    i have a delima

all the parties are offering exactly the same thing and can anyone tell me does anyone in any of the parties have an actually business degree or any knowledge of business

i would rather vote for denis o'brien, michael o'leary or bill cullen

some with a bit for business knowledge would be briliant

Not gonna bother this time around...too many bad candidates to sort out from the good ones:pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,814 ✭✭✭TPD

Christian Solidarity. Would be a good bit of scandal if they got in.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,316 ✭✭✭✭the_syco

    Probably Team Fail :P

I'm not voting SF or Libertas in, that's for sure. FG... doubt it. If they replace the leader with someone who seems to have some sort of direction, maybe, Labour, no, so that just leaves Team Fail.

    Vote FF TF

In that case, your as well off not voting. Voting for them because you think they're going to win is just as big a waste of a vote. Maybe if you vote for someone you would like to see get in, instead of someone you think will get in, then Fine Gael won't get in.
I'm thinking Labour. FG and FF are as bad as each other IMO. Wouldn't trust Sinn Fein and the greens would probably tax the living daylights out of anything that didnt run on biofuels. Don't know many independants, but Cathy Sinnott annoys the fcuk out of me.
