Hi lads, I'm looking for a GPS to be used for fishing trips out on the West coast. I don't mind paying for a decent model.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

    All depends what you're after

I love my Garmin GPSMAP 276c. I have the BlueChart Atlantic maps installed which are excellent, same as paper charts except on your GPS.

Eventhough the 276c has a small screen it does me fine and I use it regularly. I went for the portable option because it means I can bring it from boat to boat, instead of being stuck on the one boat all the time
