Best 1tb external harddrive for under 130 euro

Anyone able to recommend the best 1TB external hard drive for under 130 euro. Loking for one which can easily be connected to a PS3 so I can play media through it.

Currently lookign at this and this one for 116 euro.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Can't go wrong with western digital for 100 bob delivered.

Just make sure you format it using FAT32 so the PS3 can read it ok.

This will limit you to a maximum file size of ~4Gb so some HD movies will be out of the question, not even sure if the playstation supports all HD formats, but worth noting the limitation all the same.

Seagate..I got a 1TB from PC world for €99.
It has the energy saving which means the hard drive powers down when not in use after a user set specific time..
Forget about Iomega...bloody things are constantly spinning...gets really annoying and can't be good for it in the long term.

I recommend spending the extra bob for this feature..

this is hte 1.5TB model for €138..it's out of stock at the moment but you can't go wrong for that price.

I've had several Iomega disks over the years, all the way back to ZIP disks and I've never problems with any of them.

You could always buy the Western Digital media player.
It supports 1080p/HDMI and also supports FAT32/NTFS and mkv.
Pretty much what you can throw at it.
You simply attach your USB drive to it and it plays away.
Few mates of mine have them and are extremely happy with them.

probably a bit out of budget as it needs a seperate 2.5" HDD
