after a good nights session what is your curer in the morning -

mine is a simple strong white coffee, one slice of brown toast and an orange juice - some of my mates have to have huge fryups and sorts of greasy concoctions

so whats your curer for the morning after the night before??

a carbonated drink from a drinks dispenser ala. mcdonalds.

or a partially gelatinated non-dairy gum-based beverage hits the spot.

It's crazy, all the salt that's in a fry would make the dehydration caused by alcohol even worse! So why does it work? One them there questions we're never meant to learn the answer to. And I'm also too lazy to find out. :)

My cure is Club Rock Shandy, but I can't get that over here :( Orange juice and toast is a good substitute, if I can stomach it! OOOOOO and soda stream cola from Dac Monalds or some such... Mmmm.... I really want a happy meal now! :(

A good sh1te and a bottle of Blue Powerade, followed by a good few cups of tea.I wouldent be able to stomach a feed until night again...

But pints of water before bed,you wake up without a touch of a hangover.

    A dirty fry up/a quick tug/lucozade sport/more sleep/sex

Any of the above usually do the job for me...

Gotten into an awful habit of having a McD's when I'm hungover now, it seems to be the only thing that'll fix me.

Although cans of coke do work wonders, especially if they're not freezing cold, but just chilled a little bit, and still all fizzy and bubbly.

Before bed, drink about 2 or 3 pints of water.

    Next morning I'd ideally have:
    a bowl of frosties,
2 slices of wholegrain brown toast,
glass of tropicana orange juice without the bits,
cup of tea, milk and 1 spoon of sugar.

The perfect hangover breakfast in my opinion, never seem fit for a fry :o

Orange Juice? It didn't work for me.

Once when I was working in a Psychiatric Hospital, I went out Thursday night at a well known Fairview large dance club. I slept in my friend's house who lived near where I worked. I got to bed around 4.

At half 7 I had to get up. I had an orange juice and some Cheerios for breakfast and I felt great.

At work, I was making soup for the patients in the kitchen when I got a stir in my stomach, and I knew what was coming... so I shuffled towards the toilet, heaving but trying to keep it in.

When I got to the toilet door, my hand grasped for the door, but it missed, and that was enough to set me off- I put my hands to my face to stop it but it was no use. It only meant the stuff projected like a fan to the sides. Which meant the patient to my left reading his paper in his armchair got some sick on him. And then I rushed in to plaster the rest of it mainly onto the floor, despite the fact that I was beside the bowl. It still had bits of Cheerios in it.

I guess the point of this is, orange juice is absolutely crap for hangovers...

    Endorphins.

For me it's 6-8 pints of water over about 2 hours while doing sudoku puzzles.
Then a large pack of crisps washed down with 2 pints of coca cola.
About an hour after that I go back to sleep, wake up, dinner, drunk again and repeat.

I stay in bed untill I wake up, usually quite late in the evening. Therefore not really needing a curer.

    I can't do that.
Even when I'm out of work I still get up at about 8. Keeps my body clock right and that way I'm not wrecked when I do get some work.

Yup, it messes you up during the week. However, at the weekend it comes in fairly handy.
