I dont know about that Mike. Charlie Cool looks like the biggest mover in the 2-00 and there is also money for Rafiqa.

Funny I was wondering about a punt on Charlie Cool, but the most bet window on RP site deffo says Amanjena over Charlie Cool (1000+ bets v 420 bets)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,135 ✭✭✭POINTBREAK

I saw that, but oddschecker and the rest seem to be saying Charlie. On betfair there is 9300 matched on Charlie and 5800 on Amenjena. You could be right , but I just have a bit of doubt.

Missed it. 25/1 this morning into 5/1 from the Ryan stable. You could knock a few points off for the non runners , but still a big gamble pulled off.

    Tom Segal

    Todays Tips – Saturday 26 September 2009

Lady Darshaan Best Price 10/1 Paddy Power in the 3.05 Ascot

Seek N Destroy Best price 11/1 with VC Bet in the 3.40 Ascot
Castles In The Air Best price 14/1 with Ladbrokes in the 3.40 Ascot

Sean said last week that Tom Segal also does Pricewise Extra on Saturday and Sunday. He says in the paper that he fancies Delegator because he didnt think Rip Van Winkles preparation for the race had gone well, but would be waiting to see what the market did before he backed Delegator. I assume if there is massive support for Rip he means he will change his mind.

Mike, check Market Rasen, it looks like it's War Of The World.

I'm not 100% positive, but I think it is usually Segal doing PWE on the week - ends.

Razor Royale is now nearly as well backed as War of the World, it was miles behind before the PW-E races were listed so I think I've guessed right.

Trading Post are 4th from the bottom and minus over 400 points. I always said they were useless. The problem is I think the Trading Post boys also do Pricewise Extra during the week.

Pointbreak, you can edit posts! :)

Tom Segal PROF TO £10 STKE @ ADV PRC + £570.00
    Pw-E PROF TO £10 STKE @ ADV PRC -£110.00

    Says it all really.

I just check PwE for June (which was when this thread was printing money) + £505.00

I though Lady Darshaan would have won that race if she hadnt been hit hard on the nose and carried across the track by the winner. Accidental or not it did effect the result in my mind.

It looks like Tom Segal got PWE out of trouble again with Golden Stream at around 5/1.

Hi Guys, Just a quick thing about 'Relayline' I'm not too sure they're results tables can be relied on. I've not gone through this whole thread yet but did you guess 'JUST For MARY' as a Tom Segal PWE on 12th July ? The thing is that you can check whether you've guessed the right PWE's most days by clicking the "todays results" tab on relayline (you get yesterdays results). Well the point is the day after the Just For Mary result PWE was not on the todays results table. I found out about it because the Racing Post website, as usual, had a big splash headline about it the next day, claiming St. Tom had tipped it up at 20/1. So why didn't relayline include it. Could it be because they hadn't included it in they're own reccommended bets ( which they charge for ).

Interesting. The 12th of July was a Sunday though and Tom Segal does not usually tip in his Pricewise column on a Sunday, but it seems he does tip the Pricewise Extra Horses on Saturday and Sunday. I wonder is the horse in the Pricewise extra stats for July rather than Pricewise.
I dont have time to check now, but will have a look tomorrow.

There was one or two questions about segal doing pw extra tips at the weekend. He definetley does do weekends, every saturday and sunday since january. I ring up every saturday saturday and sunday and Tom Segal himself speaks in a recorded message and gives the tips. Great win yesterday with golden stream. Hopefully he finds a nice one in ireland today

    5.35 Curragh - Dani California

both flying up the most bet chart, must be the pair.

    Sean
What price was Golden Stream advised at yesterday, just so I can update my records. It looks like the Real money is to be made just following PWE ate the weekends and Tom Segal when he tips on Saturday and at the big meetings. Is that your tactic Sean?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 478 ✭✭Seanohea

Thats exactly my tactic, thats where the profit is to be made. Heres hoping for at least one winner today. He's covered himself for the weekend anyway

There was a Pricewise in the paper today.
    TAMAGIN 16/1 2nd12/1 ASC 3.15.
It had finished ahead of both ADVANCED and JIMMY STYLES who have both subsequently won.
and it was giving them quite a bit of weight in a race at Ripon, Tom says.
He also criticised the way the jockeys rode in yesterdays sprint and low and behold
Tamagin raced alone on the far rail today. so maybe even the jocks listen to him !!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,135 ✭✭✭POINTBREAK

Dani California wins at 13/2 from 16/1 for Pricewise Extra folowing yesterdays 7/1 to 5/1 winner Golden Stream both tipped by Tom Segal.
