    Hi All,

I really need some advice, If I am posting this in the wrong forum I'm sorry.

I have just found out that I am pregnant which me and my hubby are delighted about but I also have had my last recent smear test result back and I have CIN3. Am due to go for colposcopy in a few weeks but I am worried sick that this may hurt my baby, this is my first child.

Does anyone have any advice for me, have any of you been in this situation, I have an appointment with my GP on Tuesday and I know I can ask him all this but I'm going out of my mind here with worry.
    Thanks so much
    xx

really and truly, this is far too serious to be taking advice from randomers on teh internet.

discuss it with your go and gynaecologist.

good luck, hope it works out well.

Medical advice is not allowed for obvious reasons, but if this helps http://www.womenshealthlondon.org.uk/leaflets/cervical/cervab.html particularly the section on "Pregnancy and abnormal smear" as it suggests that Colposcopy is safe in pregnancy. Good luck

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
