    Anyone know of any sailing clubs around Carrick on Shannon?

    Check out www.sailing.ie. They have a full list of clubs. TBH, I don't know of any proper clubs on the North Shannon. I'd say your nearest is around Sligo, Lough Erne or Lough Ree Yacht Club near Athlone.

    There's a sailing club in Drumshanbo, check it out on www.allen.ie we usually go sailing as a group every Saturday from 2pm and wednesday from 7pm. The club is located at Lough Allen Education Centre beside the Ramada Hotel in Drumshanbo. Mostly using Laser Pico and also have access to a 30 Yacht on Sligo Bay.
