I managed it with my ex girlfriend, about 18 months ago, since we broke up, there's always been alcohol involved in the "initial act"

A lot of people I've asked this of before seriously struggle to remember! Dutch Courage goes a long way...

Obviously if the the person was hot enough, but people have standards, and by sober standards two equally matched people would not feel a desire to engage in a one night stand.

People are more focused on long term relationships while sober, as they know this is for the best. While drunk this logic flies out the window.
