UPC/NTL Broadband - VOIP service

    Hi folks,

I am currently a BT customer on a 3mb speed. I pay for broadband in a bundle from BT that includes line rental. I use Blueface VOIP service and do not use the phone line for making calls. The only purpose to the phone line is for sky multi room.

I recently noted that the UPC could provide me with a 10mb speed service for less than my broadband bundle cost with BT, and the UPC VOIP service worked for the SKY call back on multi room.

When I enquired by mail to UPC I was informed that only Broadband is available in my area (and not VOIP). How is that possible? I thought once you have broadband you should be able to use VOIP (like my Blueface service)

When I rang them I was informed that broadband was not available in my area even though my neighbour has it... Hence why I am questioning what they are telling me.
