    Hi all,
just looking for some help. i play GAA football, and nearly 4 weeks ago i pulled my quad muscle, thats the one at the front of my thigh! and since then anytime i do any kind of excersize it pulls again! it is extremely sore, and is getting in the way of my football training! i have done all the usual, resting it, icing it and compression! just wondering does anyone else have any other good advice for what i can do!!

    thanks in advance....:)

If you pulled it, you pulled it for a reason.

There's probably an imbalance/discrepancy somewhere in your body. This theory is re-enforced by your repeated pulls. Thus resting, icing and all of that will do very little to help unless you treat the underlying cause.

Best option is to hit up a sports physio and get an assesment done. If they don't find or attempt to treat what caused the pull in the first place, walk away.
