HRM Accuracy

Picked myself up a new toy on Sunday, got the Polar F6 HRM.

I used it for the first time this evening, I was just wondering how accurate the calorie counter is? My session in total lasted 80 minutes, I was expecting it to be around the 600-700 mark, but it tells me I burned over 1530 calories?

    Cheers!

Its obviously hard to tell without working out in a lab but once you have your individual settings saved (weight, age, sex etc) it should be close enough.
