Does anyone know what the status setting on the 9.04 taskbar is about, you can set it to available, busy, offline...

I'm after upgrading from gutsy so I'm not sure if its been in the other distros.

Whats the point of it? What can it be used for?

It turns out its just for setting your status on pidgin and that sort of thing.

Its on the task bar beside the account name, its a little green dot when set to available.
