 I honestly dont know how I've lived without one for so long! The amount of things you can do with them!  Nice clean cuts, angled cuts, joints, cutting small pieces that you wouldnt be able to manage with the standard mitre guage.  I love it!

 ) machine, so I guess I cant expect perfect result.  The ridges or waves arent deep or very noticable, but you can feel them when you run your hand down the timber.  Its not just with the ash either, its with all the wood I've put through it so far.
