    Mine, in no particular order:

    Evolution
    Bret Hart (original)
    DX
    Christian
    Hardy's original one.
    Ravishing Rick Rude

    definitely!!

Randy Ortons voices is pretty good. His last one was as well..

    Evolutions Theme
    Vinces
    HHH's Time is Now
    The ECW theme

On a theme song related note... did anyone, when playing WWF attitude (PS1)...encounter a strange glitch that played Vinces "no chance" theme song when you selected Chynas music in CAW

Hard one to answer. I think some entrance music is great because it does its job very well i.e. it fits the wrestler's character and conveys a message to the audience. But then there are songs that I actually enjoy listening to and have downloaded. Like, I thought Billy & Chuck's entrance theme was brilliant, but you'd have to pay me a pretty penny to listen to it on my way to work.

Stuff that I actually like lisening to includes
    Alter Bridge - Metalingus (Edge)
Alter Bridge are a great band so long as you don't ever try to take them seriously. They're not as epically woeful as Creed, from whence they originate. Suits Edge down to the ground because he looks like he could be a member of the band.

Mercy Drive - Burn In My Light (Randy Orton)
Lyrics are senseless, but good guitar. An opposite example of what I was talking about above with regards to Billy & Chuck, in that I enjoy listening to this song, but I don't think it was very good for Randy Orton. Might have worked while he was a face, but it seems too up tempo for his menacing character.

Finger Eleven - Slow Chemical (Kane)
If you removed the intro, I would be glad and unashamed to play this song in front of friends. Probably my favorite of the three, but I never got in to Finger Eleven the same way I did with Alter Bridge.

Happened to a few people. It was the 'Corporate' theme for a lot of wrestlers, I believe. Although I'm not fully sure if her "Who I Am" theme was in that game or not.

Anyway, for me, in no partiuclar order except The first one as my favourite:

Slow Chemical - Kane - Finger Eleven
This Fire Burns - CM Punk - Killswitch Engage
Voices - Randy Orton - Rev Theory
    Metalingus - Edge - Alterbridge
Crank It Up - Big Show - Brand New Sin
"Cell Block" - Big Boss Man ('Corporate' Theme)
    Biscuits & Gravy - Jesse & Festus
Priceless - Ted Di'biase (Not the current one, the previous Johnston version)
    Reality - The Miz
Man With A Plan - The Brian Kendrick ("Skateboarder" (the instrumental version) is also great)

I'll stop now.. I could go on and on... :o

Mercy Drive - Burn In My Light (Randy Orton)
    Lyrics are senseless

Whilst i'm not 100% sure, I believe the song is about being held down by other people, but then getting what you want on your own.

Finger Eleven - Slow Chemical (Kane)
    If you removed the intro

You can get it without the intro pretty easily. The best quality of it relased is probably on the Punisher Soundtrack. It has a three and a half second intro, but it's better than the 27 second intro it has on WWE's albums. You can download it anywhere really without the intro though. I don't think you'd have much trouble finding it.

    Million Dollar Man

Didn't pay a lot of attention really.

Two that spring to mind were Steamboat's 80s tune, Sirrius by The Alan Parsons Project (although it gets overdubbed on the Anthologies due to copyright issues), and Austin's heel tune during the Invasion era. :)

Always thought Pomp and Circumstance for Randy Savage and Also Sprach Zarathustra were the perfect tunes for either man to come down to.

William Regals music from his run in 99 ... "Real Man's Man" is great fun, as is Billy & Chuck's "You Look So Good to Me" song.

I was a big fan of Christian's "At Last". Pity they didn't bring it back with him.

Always loved Stone Cold's primarily because of the crowd reaction.. *glass breaks*, *fans go ape sh!t*,*music starts and Austin appears*.. His 2001 Rumble entrance is a classic example :)

While not a WWE theme tune, Mitsuharu Misawa's theme tune, Spartan X is the greatest theme tune in all of pro-wrestling. Hearing that live last Summer was a massive hairs standing on the back of your neck moment for me.

Ha! Remember when Undertaker used to ride out to Limp Bizkit's Rollin'? Truly terrible. Both the song and what it said about the character.

I used to take a perverse pleasure in beating FD to a bloody pulp in the SD! game.

The Austin music is class, with the glass breaking and all. I still have never heard as loud a pop as I did when he came out during that Raw segment to help Mick Foley win the belt. I really hope that was a genuine pop and not sound editing by WWE.

Something similar happened during a more recent PPV. It was one with Shawn Michaels and Hogan tagging. I remember when Hogan came out I could barely hear the music, and that was on TV!

There is some other theme music I like but I can't for the life of me remember what it is, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Heehee, not quite. I preferred their 2nd theme, the "Turn it up" one. I'm trying to find the original Bret hart music online to download but I'm not having any luck finding it. Anyone who can help me out, please let me know.

I have to admit I also like the Deuce and Domino theme music as well.

Just been arsing about on youtube looking at retro themes

Rick Rude , Koko B Ware and Demolition are good too

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,199 ✭✭✭G-Money

No worries, found the Bret one :)

    Rick Rude's theme is class.

I remembered the theme music I was talking about. It's Chris Jericho's. The break the walls down one.

Really? I thought it suited his character pretty well. It was the biggest song of the year and helped get him over with the younger generation.

Aye, he was a badass biker who rode to the ring to nu-metal pop song. Didn't quite fit. I will admit, my dislike for LB may be cloudong my judgement. Still, Fred's whine did nothing to get across the gruff persona. I liked his original biker music, with the scary little girls. Those deamon spawn freaked me out far more than any organ-grinding ever could

I used to like the Undertaker as the dude on the motorbike. As my mate called him then "Bikertaker"

His mate also had the funniest name ever for Bobby Lashley. He called him "Black Lesnar" :)

Nu Metal perhaps but Limp Bizkit are definately more bad ass than Kid Rock...and while his original biker music was good i'd credit that more to Metallica than the afore-mentioned Mr. Rock.;)

Neither of you should watch The Shining then, as they were an intentional ripoff of that scene in the movie.

The Simpsons and Family Guy have also parodied it. Along with several other shows.

I still wonder why the hell they changed Kane's theme tune. There was no reason to. I doubt Finger Eleven were looking for much money for it or anything, and it was significantly better than any of his prior themes and definitely better than his new one. Such a waste.

Because it was bloody ancient, with such poor vocal style that he sounded like he was going to burst into tears if he didn't get a box of kleenex, stat!

Change is as good as the rest. but i'm not gonna go into detail about how stale Kane has been for years, so any attempt to try and revamp him in the slightest works in my book.

That said, I agree, the new theme isn't much better.
