    I wrote this recently any feedback welcome

    floating deck-chair on grassy clouds
    willow sentry at the border
    midday-sun lends no shadow
    the smile of somthing once happy
    the faded print stirs a distant memory

    Looks like the rejected verse from Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds to me :D

    Actually I like it, really. It sends messages of nostalgia, of the passage of time and how all our best times seem to be behind us.
