Argos product matching

I would not get the vinyl sets. The bars are hollow and not rated to much. My hollow argos york ez-curl bar began to bend at ~100kg, it is rated for 60kg I think. The vinyl plates are full of cement which will degrade and crack up. They are also much bulkier which is a big problem, you cannot fit many plates on the dumbbells since they just do not fit.

    I would recommend this set

Your products are matched, the plates will fit on the other bar. The plates on the one I linked will also fit that bar. The tricurl bar also appears to be hollow so will be limited to lower weights. If I could go back in time I would have got a solid ezcurl & tricep bar.

Solid "standard" bars can be got here http://www.irish-lifting.com/index.php?cPath=1_13
All the plates discussed so far are "standard", that is 25 or 25.4mm diameter holes, "olympic" plates have 2" holes.
