Looking for cheap dumbbells

I'm looking for a set of dumbbells (3 to 5 pounds), I'm on a tight budget right now so the cheaper the better - it's not like they are going to break after all! I thought about Tesco, but they only have small 1.5 hand weights where I live. Any suggestions - Dublin South or Centre? Cheers!

3-5lbs is really next to nothing, a 2L of coke is ~4.5lb! You would be better off doing pushups

As you will outgrow the 20kg very quickly (man or woman).

You will need help with the 50kg set though, I expect argos would hold it at the counter and let you go and come back again. The 20kg should be ok but maybe bring a backpack for it.

If you are on a tight budget then a chinup bar is probably the best value bit of equipment you can get.

Thanks rubadub, believe me I do pushups too! I need those for workout videos - I agree it's not much but they hit your arms from all angles with varied range of movement and I feel it's doing me really good plus with compounds there's usually some cardio benefit too. BTW I am a girl and looking only for toning not much definition
