Not the greatest picture ever, but the heron was a bit quick for me before I realised what he was up to:
The fish had the same problem though, and came off a bit worse than me for not being quick enough.

Thanks, You don't really need a tripod, at least I haven't used one yet anyway (Which would probably explain why I get maybe 5-10 or so useful pics out of every 100 clicks
). I don't think it would be too much fun setting up a tripod in the hope that something might decide to land in your focus area. 0 -
